Jennian goes Red For Women

Our Mid Canterbury franchise got into the swing of things this year, with all staff agreeing to dye their hair red, in support of the Heart Foundation's Go Red For Women campaign. “We wanted to do something a little bit shocking, in the hope that people would sit up and take notice of Go Red for Women,” says the Jennian Homes Mid Canterbury Director, Nigel Smith. “Every staff member was on board, though some were a little anxious about the final result. Ultimately it was about increasing awareness, but we ended up raising over $5000.” Elaine Ford, local Heart Foundation spokesperson, is impressed with Jennian Mid Canterbury’s commitment, “not many people would go quite that far, it is wonderful to see that they are doing something so beneficial and increasing awareness of heart health”.
